Indore ⁢Man ⁢Arrested in⁤ Grandmother’s Murder:‍ Body Hidden in Storage Box

A 28-year-old man in Indore has been arrested for allegedly murdering‍ his 65-year-old grandmother and concealing her body in a bed storage box. Vikas Gouhar was apprehended while attempting to flee to Rajasthan, police said‌ thursday.

The incident occurred late Tuesday in the Salvi Muhalla area of Indranagar. Additional DCP Alok⁤ Sharma stated that the victim, Shanti, was a retired municipal corporation worker who ⁣supported⁤ her grandson with her pension.

police discovered Shanti’s body in a ⁣trunk ⁤inside her home. A forensic team⁣ was called to the scene to gather evidence, Sharma told IANS.
