Industrious: Office Firm Experiences Major Growth

CBRE’s Industrious acquisition Fuels⁤ Rapid Expansion in Flexible Office Space

One year after commercial real estate firm CBRE acquired Industrious, a flexible office company, Industrious is experiencing ample growth. CBRE completed the acquisition on January ​26, 2025, according to a company press release.

Industrious, founded in 2013, ⁢saw rapid expansion following⁣ the COVID-19 ​pandemic. in 2025,⁢ the company​ increased its global footprint by 58% compared to 2024,‌ reaching over ⁤250 locations in⁣ more than 100 cities, ⁢as reported⁣ by ⁢Industrious. The company projects a 100% increase in new‍ signings in 2026.

Currently, Industrious holds ​the ⁢third-largest position​ in the‌ flexible office sector, measured by both the number⁤ of spaces​ and total square footage. It trails behind International workplace Group and ‍WeWork.

CBRE⁣ stated ⁤that Industrious’ success stems from “an ongoing investment‍ into understanding what makes for a great workplace, paired‍ with continuous operational betterment.”
