Udinese defeated Como in an Italian Serie A league match held at the Blunergi Stadium in Udinese on Monday, February 9, early in the morning Indonesian time.
Como, who have only taken one point from two games, tried to play aggressively when they visited Udinese’s headquarters. Rather than relying solely on Patrick Cutrone and Andrea Belotti, coach Cesc Fabregas tried to take advantage of the presence of Gabriel Strepeza and Lucas da Cunha.
The squad, new to Serie A this season, managed to get into Udinese’s penalty area but finishing remained an issue.

Meanwhile, Udinese did not remain silent in the attack of the away team. In fact, Como’s midfield was quite good as a defensive cover, but Il Gevrete was able to score in the 43rd minute.
Kingsley Ehizibue made a quick run down the right before a cross came into the box and Brenner Souza struck the post first and the ball went straight into the net.
Pepe Reina didn’t expect the ball to go into the net as Brenner’s shot narrowly missed the near post. Udinese lead 1-0.
In the second half, Como tried to attack again, but Udinese’s defense was quite solid.

In the third minute of added time, a handball occurred inside the Udinese penalty area and after discussing it with the VAR referee and watching the recorded replay, on-field referee Alessandro Frontera pointed to the white spot.
Cutrone’s penalty went wide and Como were unable to equalise.
Como continued to press after failing to score from the penalty spot, but failed to break through Udinese’s goal. The final result was a 1-0 win for Udinese.
Como remain bottom of the table with one point from three games. They previously lost to Juventus in the first leg and drew with Cagliari in the second.
