It’s fair to say that Intel’s Battlemage graphics card generation has been marked by anticipation, with sometimes very long delays between announcements and actual availability. For example, the Intel Arc Pro B60 was announced at Computex in May 2025, only to become widely available in January 2026…
But the model that undoubtedly embodies all the anticipation surrounding this generation is the Arc B770. All the Battlemage cards released so far, whether the Arc B580 and B570 for gamers or the Arc pro B60 and B50 for professionals, use the same GPU: Intel’s BMG-G21, with diffrent configurations subsequently used to modulate performance. Though, the existence of a second GPU is an open secret: the BMG-G31. To recap, rumors about it leaked as early as January 2024, two years ago! Since then, the name of this GPU has resurfaced many times, including in documents or by dissecting drivers from Intel, leaving little doubt as to its existence when the leaks come from Intel itself.
According to the most famous “leaker” when it comes to Intel products, Jaykihn, the BMG-G31 should soon be officially announced by Intel, hoping though that we don’t have to wait another 6 months for it to actually be available this time. Though, sorry for Intel fans who were already rubbing their hands together: it will arrive in the Arc Pro B70.
