India is set to celebrate the 11th international Day of Yoga on June 21 with numerous events planned across the country. The Yoga sangam, a flagship event, will take place in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the Yoga Sangam event as part of a two-day visit⁤ to Bihar, Odisha, adn Andhra Pradesh that began⁢ Thursday.

Before the yoga event, Modi will inaugurate⁤ growth projects in Siwan, Bihar, on Friday, boosting infrastructure and socio-economic growth⁤ in the region. The ⁢Yoga Sangam is among ⁢10‍ signature events‍ for this year’s yoga Day, themed “Yoga for⁢ One Earth, One ⁢Health.”

The Yoga Sangam will ⁤feature a synchronized mass yoga exhibition based on ⁣the ⁢Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) at more than 100,000 locations across India on June 21, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Modi will ‍lead the national event in Visakhapatnam, Andhra pradesh.
