Interpol has announced a North American tour spanning the summer and fall of 2026. While a formal announcement has not yet been made, the tour is expected to support the band’s first album released through their new label, Partisan Records.
The tour, promoted by AEG Presents, is scheduled to begin on July 31 in Denver and will conclude on October 17 in Nashville. The itinerary includes a performance at the CBGB Festival in New York on September 26 at Under The K Bridge, as well as a specific appearance in Vancouver on September 29, where the band will perform as the opening act for SOMBR at Rogers Arena.
Tour Support and Routing
The band will be accompanied by a rotating lineup of supporting acts at various points throughout the tour. Youth Lagoon is scheduled to open for the initial dates in Denver, Jackson Hole, Boise and Salt Lake City, while Loathe will provide support for the shows in Portland and Tacoma.
As the tour moves to the West Coast, julie will open for the performances in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Las Vegas. The bulk of the fall leg will feature support from DIIV, who will open for the band across several cities, including Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, Columbus, Chicago, St. Louis, and Atlanta. The final tour stop in Nashville will feature support from French Police.
New Music and Label Transition
Interpol has debuted two new songs during its 2026 performances, including a recent set at the Coachella festival in Indio, California. These tracks, titled Wings on Fire and See Out Loud, are described as sharing characteristics with the band’s 2002 debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights. During the performance of See Out Loud, guitarist Daniel Kessler took a rare turn as the lead vocalist.
The upcoming untitled album will serve as the follow-up to 2022’s The Other Side of Make-Believe. That previous release was Interpol’s fourth album for Matador Records, the label that also issued their debut and the 2004 album Antics.
International Schedule
The North American run follows a series of international dates. In April 2026, the band is playing seven shows across Australia and New Zealand. This will be followed by a three-week stint in Europe during July, which consists of headlining dates and festival appearances, including a show at Madrid’s Mad Cool.
