KU Animal Cancer Center
Konkuk University KU Animal Cancer Center is the first companion animal cancer specialized medical center established at a veterinary school in Korea.
Recently, as the number of companion animals has increased, as well as the length of time they are raised and their life expectancy has increased, the incidence of tumors has increased and the demand for treatment of companion animal cancer patients has skyrocketed. However, there is a severe shortage of specialized medical centers in Korea.
KU Animal Cancer Center is striving to lead the advancement of domestic veterinary oncology by providing customized treatment through diagnosis and treatment specialized for companion animal tumors. The surgical team, internal medicine team, imaging diagnostic medicine team, and tumor cell analysis team are working together to find the best treatment method for patients and provide treatment. Equipped with professional manpower and infrastructure of a university animal hospital, we aim to provide safe and specialized cancer treatment for patients based on accumulated clinical experience with cancer patients and the latest medical technology.
The medical staff at the KU Animal Cancer Center not only treat cancer patients, but also strive to improve their quality of life, and will do their best to provide treatment for both patients and their families so that they and their pets can live happily together.
