Invitation to Free Inclusive Film at Valdivia’s Municipal Theater
Valdivia Film Festival Presents free Inclusive Screenings at Lord Cochrane Municipal Theater

Free Film Screenings Offered Every Tuesday Until April 22
The Valdivia Film Festival is extending an invitation to all communities to participate in an inclusive cinematic experience. Free screenings are scheduled every Tuesday until April 22 at the Lord Cochrane Municipal theater.
Since March 18, the theater has hosted a weekly series called Film Tuesday,
offering a diverse program that includes cinema for children, Chilean films, and inclusive cinema, along with selections from the Valdivia international Film Festival.
The Film Tuesday
series is supported by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage.
Each day features three screenings: films for children at 11 a.m., Chilean feature films at 2:30 p.m. (with three films adapted for people with visual and auditory disabilities), and a selection from the 31st Valdivia International Film Festival (FICValdivia) at 7 p.m.
The Valdivia Cinematographic Promotion Center (CPCV) is implementing a calendar of activities to promote inclusive cinema, supported by funding from the National Fund of Inclusive Projects (FONAPI) of the National Disability Service (Senadis) Los Ríos.
Sensory accessibility will be offered at screenings on April 8, 15, and 22. Transportation is available for attendees from nearby communities. Contact Valdiviaciudocine@cpcv.cl or the Local Disability Office for details.
Registration is required for the 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. screenings via a form at www.cpcv.cl. Middle school groups, senior citizens, and social organizations are encouraged to attend. The 7 p.m. screenings are free, with access granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
