IOS 18 Nightmare: iPhone 16 Pro Users Plagued by Mysterious Disconnection Issue – Is a Firmware Fix on the Horizon
iPhone 16 Pro Experiencing Disconnection Issue, Suspected to be Caused by iOS 18 Firmware
The iPhone 16 Pro, which has only been on sale for a few days, has already experienced problems of use. Many users have reported that the new phone’s screen is experiencing touch disconnection, and it often happens that a large area suddenly becomes unresponsive after being touched.
The area near the newly introduced camera control buttons seems to be the hardest hit. However, according to tests by careful netizens, this glitch is not triggered in all interfaces. Moreover, some users of older models such as the iPhone 15 Pro have reported that they have encountered similar situations, so we suspect that the root cause of the problem is most likely the latest firmware from iOS 18.
Of course, given the fact that the disconnection occurs mainly near the camera control button, Apple may have made a mistake in adapting the anti-accidental touch algorithm for the new design.
So far, Apple has not commented, but we estimate that it is most likely that it will eventually resolve the issue with a fix update.
