Dr. Ryan Hajek, a Council Bluffs dentist specializing in pediatric care, was recently named the new president of the Iowa Dental Association (IDA).The installation occurred at the IDA’s annual session held May 7 in des Moines.
Hajek, co-owner of My Pediatric Dentist, assumes the role of the association’s 162nd president. The iowa Dental Association also announced Dr. Shawn Hedlund, of Iowa City, as the new president-elect.
Dr. Hajek is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry.
