iPad mini 7 is finally on sale in Taiwan! The arrival time is published and the minimum price increases slightly by 2,000

Apple Taiwan announced the official launch of the new iPad mini in the Taiwanese market on the 20th. This model features the A17 Pro chip and introduces the Apple Intelligence function, enhancing the performance of professional applications. The starting price is 16,900 yuan, with a storage capacity that is double that of the previous generation, beginning at 128GB.

For the iPad mini 7, the pricing is as follows:

• Wi-Fi Version:

  • 128GB: 16,900 yuan
  • 256GB: 20,400 yuan
  • 512GB: 27,400 yuan
• 5G Version:
  • 128GB: 21,900 yuan
  • 256GB: 25,400 yuan
  • 512GB: 32,400 yuan

This new model costs 2,000 yuan more than the iPad mini 6’s starting price of 14,900 yuan.

The A17 Pro chip provides substantial performance improvements, particularly for augmented reality (AR) applications and photo editing. Apple’s integration with the iPadOS 18 platform allows the iPad mini to execute tasks such as creating text and images, powered by the new Apple Intelligence smart system. The first version of this feature will launch with iPadOS 18.1 in late October, supporting only American English initially.

The iPad mini also includes Wi-Fi 6E, which facilitates faster downloads, and its USB-C port has double the transmission speed, reaching 10Gbps. Additionally, the device boasts a 12-megapixel rear camera with Smart HDR 4 capabilities, enabling file detection and scanning within the camera app.

The iPad mini is compatible with the latest Apple Pencil Pro, enhancing functions for writing and drawing. It comes in four colors: Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Grey, with storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The basic Wi-Fi model starts at 16,900 yuan, while the Wi-Fi + Mobile Network model begins at 21,900 yuan.

Apple stated that the Apple Intelligence feature will add support for more languages, including Chinese, French, and German, with worldwide availability planned by 2025.
