The Delhi Capitals (DC) overcame a shaky run of ‍form ⁤to defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a crucial IPL eliminator match in⁤ Abu ⁢Dhabi. After ‍a string of losses, DC needed a strong performance, and⁣ they delivered, thanks to an all-round display led by ⁢Marcus ​Stoinis and Shikhar Dhawan.

A tactical masterstroke saw Stoinis promoted to ⁣open the ‍batting, a move that paid ​dividends instantly. He provided the much-needed impetus in the powerplay, taking⁣ on the SRH bowlers and allowing Dhawan to settle in.
