Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) triumphed over Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 runs to claim their first Indian Premier League (IPL) title in the IPL 2025 final. This victory marks the end of a 17-year wait for the Bengaluru franchise,which debuted in 2008.
RCB batted first, posting 190 for 9 in their 20 overs. Virat Kohli led the team with 43 runs off 35 balls. PBKS responded with 184 for 7, falling just short of the target. RCB’s bowlers managed to hold off Punjab’s late surge,securing the IPL victory.
