The open conflict between Iran and Israel entered it’s fourth day as Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv and Haifa overnight.The exchange began Friday after Israel targeted Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities, prompting retaliatory attacks from Tehran.
An Iranian health ministry spokesperson reported at least 224 fatalities in Iran, with civilians accounting for 90% of the casualties. Israeli authorities reported at least 10 deaths, including children, from earlier strikes.
The Revolutionary Guards claimed their latest offensive employed novel tactics, causing Israel’s defense systems to turn on each other. The Israeli military has not yet commented on the claim. Israeli officials previously acknowledged the “Iron Dome” system’s limitations and cautioned of continued challenges.

A senior U.S.official revealed that Trump stopped Israel from assassinating iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei. “We found out that the Israelis had plans to hit Iran’s supreme leader. President Trump was against it and we told the Israelis not to,” the official said, remaining anonymous.
When asked if regime change in Iran was an objective of Israel’s strikes, Netanyahu said it “certainly could be the result, as the Iran regime is very weak.”
Iran’s top diplomat Abbas Araghchi claimed Tehran possessed ”solid proof” of U.S. support for Israel’s attacks, adding that Iran’s actions were a “response to aggression.”
“If the aggression stops, naturally our responses will also stop,” Araghchi said.
