The State Department has ordered U.S. government employees in Israel to limit their travel to the Tel Aviv,jerusalem,and Be’er Sheva areas. This comes as family members of U.S. military personnel in the Middle East are authorized to evacuate, amid concerns of potential Israeli action against Iran.

President Trump acknowledged the region’s volatility but reiterated that the U.S. would prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Tehran has consistently denied any intention to do so.
Despite the threat of a possible Israeli strike, Iran has criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for finding it non-compliant with its nuclear obligations.
Iran to Expand Nuclear Program
In response to the IAEA vote, Iran announced plans to expand its uranium enrichment program, including establishing a new facility in a secure location. The Iranian Foreign Ministry said the measures were a response to the IAEA’s “political resolution.”
Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesman for Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, said Iran would install advanced centrifuges at its Fordo site, substantially increasing enriched materials production.
