The Iranian armed forces, in an official statement, saeid the attack was approved by iran’s Supreme National Security Council and carried out under the command of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
The IRGC dubbed the operation “Besharat Fath,” which translates to “Glad Tidings of Victory.” Iranian commanders described Al-Udeid, home to the U.S. Air Force’s central Command and considered a strategic vulnerability for Washington in West Asia, as the target.
