Senior Iranian military commanders warned on Monday that renewed aggression would trigger immediate attacks on US interests. Al Mayadeen reported that Major General Ali Abdollahi issued the warning during statements rejecting allegations about Tehran’s nuclear program.
Major General Ali Abdollahi Warns Regional Conflict Would Spread
The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, declared that Iranian military units would retaliate with heightened intensity and zero limitations should Washington launch an offensive against the nation or its atomic sites. If a new war breaks out against Iran, its flames will engulf everyone,
Abdollahi said, as reported by Al Mayadeen. He asserted that the country’s defensive capabilities have never been more robust and that it stands ready to face dangers of any nature or magnitude.
Abdollahi also rejected the suggestion that Tehran’s decisions depended on the outcome of United States congressional elections, stating that Iran saw no difference between American political parties. He criticized regional countries hosting United States forces, warning that the foreign military presence remained a source of ongoing instability and insecurity in the region.
Military Command Rejects Nuclear Program Allegations
During his remarks, Abdollahi dismissed allegations that Iran’s nuclear program had entered a military phase as unfounded illusions. He urged international organizations, particularly the International Atomic Energy Agency, to stop making unwarranted statements about Iranian civilian facilities. Stop playing the wolf in sheep’s clothing, and stop making baseless statements about our nuclear facilities,
Abdollahi said.
The commander linked the accusations to the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the region. He maintained that Iran’s nuclear program remained strictly peaceful. These statements followed commentary by Iranian nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami in late September regarding agency inspections, where Eslami noted that inspectors had accessed facilities without producing any reports documenting non-compliance.
Army Commander Amir Hatami Affirms Armed Forces Readiness
Army Commander Major General Amir Hatami, delivering remarks from southern Iran’s Fars Province, declared that the nation’s military personnel were alert and fully equipped to counter any further hostility. Hatami warned of an overwhelming and decisive response to any enemy threats should another mistake be committed, Al Mayadeen reported.
Hatami stated that after military failures, adversaries had turned to sanctions, economic pressure, and attempts to undermine domestic security. He stressed that the Iranian military would thwart those destabilizing efforts and emphasized the value of military innovation in disrupting adversary operational planning.
