Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi announced the postponement, following reports that an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman deemed the talks with the U.S. “meaningless.”

Araghchi stated on Saturday that a cessation of aggression is necessary for diplomacy to resume, objecting to negotiations while the Iranian people face bombardment, allegedly supported by the United States.
