Adair Returns as Ireland names T20 Squad for West Indies Series

Mark Adair is set to rejoin the Ireland squad for the upcoming three-match T20 series against the West Indies in Bready. Adair, a key pace bowler, returns after recovering from an injury that kept him out of the recent one-day international series against the same opponent.
However, Ireland faces injury concerns as Craig Young, Curtis Campher, and Gareth Delany have been ruled out. Young and Campher, who also missed the ODI series, have not recovered in time. Delany sustained an injury during a club game.
In response to these setbacks, Tim Tector, Stephen Doheny, and Gavin Hoey have been called up to the squad. Tector,22,debuted against Zimbabwe in February. Doheny, 26, last played T20Is against Zimbabwe in January 2023. Hoey, 23, has participated in two ODIs in 2024 but awaits his T20I debut.
