Saturday will begin with cloudy skies and rain, particularly in Munster and south Leinster, where heavy bursts are possible. The cloud and rain are expected to gradually clear eastward, giving way to “bright or sunny spells and showers” spreading from the west during the afternoon. Showers will be mainly in the east by Saturday evening.
Saturday’s high temperatures will range from 11 to 15 degrees Celsius, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds. Saturday night should turn mainly dry and clear for a time, but showers will later move in from the Atlantic, primarily affecting western and northwestern counties. Low temperatures in the east will range from 4 to 9 degrees Celsius,with light to moderate west and southwest breezes.
Sunday will also feature a mix of sunshine and showers, with cloudier conditions expected in the west and southwest.
