Irkutsk Region Prioritizes Education Facility Upgrades

MOSCOW (AP) — The construction and renovation of educational⁤ facilities in the Irkutsk region⁣ are moving forward under federal programs,⁢ officials said April‌ 12. Russian Federation Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov and Irkutsk region Gov. Igor Kobzev met in Moscow to discuss⁤ the progress, according to ⁤the regional government’s press service.

Kobzev added,”As part of this program,in 2025,repairs are completed in five schools with a two-year work⁢ cycle in the Bratsk,Osinsky,Cheremkhov,Alar and Mamsk-Chuy districts.⁣ In four schools in 2025, one-year overhaul will be held under this program.Objects are located in Cheremkhovo and Bratsk, Ziminsky and Tulunsky districts. Until the end of 2027, 18 more modernized formation objects will ​be added to them.”
