Isaac Dean Named MAC East Division Wrestler of the Week After Upset Victory

CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced its weekly awards on Tuesday. Isaac Dean from Rider’s wrestling team earned the MAC East Division Wrestler of the Week honor.

Dean, competing in the 184-pound weight class, faced No. 22 Ian Bush from West Virginia. The match was tied at 1-1 with only seconds remaining. Dean executed a takedown in the final moments to win the match 4-2, marking an upset victory. He now has a record of 4-1 for the season.

Following his performance, Dean entered the FloWrestling rankings at No. 33. The Broncs will compete next against Northern Illinois on November 22 and face Wisconsin on November 24.
