Israeli Airstrikes Hit Beirut
Israeli airstrikes targeted central Beirut on Monday, according to eyewitnesses and Lebanese security sources. The attacks occurred in the Zuqaq al-Blat area. This marks the second consecutive day that Israel has struck central parts of the Lebanese capital.
The previous day’s airstrike resulted in at least ten fatalities and was the first attack on the city’s center in several weeks. The strikes caused significant damage in the Haret Hreik district.
According to Lebanese health authorities, four people died and eighteen were injured in the recent attacks.
In response, six people were reported injured due to a Lebanese rocket attack on a village in northern Israel. This incident underscores the ongoing tensions in the region.
