This marks⁣ the second time in recent months‍ that Israel has prevented a ship operated ⁢by this coalition from reaching Gaza. Food experts have repeatedly warned of the escalating risk ⁤of famine in the region⁢ due to the ongoing blockade.

Among those on⁤ board the seized vessel, named Madleen, were 12 activists. Notably, prominent climate activist Greta thunberg was among the activists⁣ on this ship when it was previously intercepted by the Israeli military in⁣ June.
