Israel Defense Forces Launch Airstrikes on Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes on 60 targets linked to the intelligence arm of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah on Wednesday.
“Our fighter jets hit 60 terrorist targets in the Hezbollah intelligence department, based on data from the Directorate of Military Intelligence,” the IDF announced on its Telegram channel.
The airstrikes resulted in the destruction of “information gathering facilities, command posts, and additional infrastructure used by adversaries to conduct situational assessments.”
The Israeli army launched a large-scale operation earlier this week to strike suspected Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, as the group continues to fire rockets at Israeli territory.
