Meski kesepakatan gencatan senjata dengan Gaza“>Israel Sparks International Concern and US Army Response"</strong></p>”>Hamas sudah tercapai, Israel masih membombardir Gaza hingga 82 orang tewas. Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) mengutuk keras perbuatan Israel.
“Kita mengutuk keras serangan itu. Sebenarnya kita berharap gencatan itu bisa berlaku permanen, tapi Israel seperti biasa selalu melakukan pelanggaran,” ujar Ketua Bidang Keagamaan PBNU Ahmad Fahrur Rozi atau Gus Fahrur lewat pesan suara kepada detikcom, Jumat (17/1/2025).
Menurutnya, harus ada protes dunia internasional terkait tindakan biadab Israel. Dunia internasional perlu memberikan sanksi yang berat kepada Israel agar tidak semena-mena melakukan kejahatan kemanusiaan di Palestina.

“Mungkin peemrintah Indonesia bisa turut menyuarakan di forum-forum internasional, agar kebengisan Israel ini bisa dihentikan dengan berbagai upaya resolusi dan tindakan konkret dari negara internasional,” lanjutnya.
Ketua PP Muhammadiyah Anwar Abbas meminta dunia internasional turun tangan. Israel dianggap telah banyak melanggar perjanjian.
“Dunia internasional hendaknya mengutuk sikap dari Israel tersebut karena apa yang dilakukan Israel tersebut jelas-jelas tidak mencerminkan adanya keinginan untuk hidup berdampingan secara damai,” imbuh Anwar.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, kesepakatan gencatan senjata Israel dan Hamas tercapai usai dimediasi Qatar, Mesir, dan Amerika Serikat (AS) pada Kamis (16/1). Gencatan senjata ini berlaku pada Minggu (19/1).
Meski sudah tercapai kesepakatan, Israel secara kejam terus melanjutkan genosida di Gaza. Terbaru, sedikitnya 82 orang tewas.
AS selama beberapa dekade mendukung solusi dua negara antara Israel dan Palestina, yang akan menciptakan sebuah negara bagi warga Palestina di Tepi Barat dan Jalur Gaza yang berdampingan dengan Israel.
Netanyahu, dalam pernyataan sebelumnya, mengatakan Israel harus memiliki kendali atas seluruh wilayah di sebelah barat Sungai Yordan, yang akan menghalangi terbentuknya negara Palestina yang berdaulat.
