Ivaylo Mirchev Wins Defamation Lawsuit Against Businessman Staliyksi

Businessman Aleksandar Staliski has lost a defamation lawsuit brought against Ivaylo Mirchev, in which Staliski sought damages totaling 600,000 BGN.

The court ruled in favor of Mirchev, concluding the legal proceedings initiated by Staliski. The outcome was reported across multiple Bulgarian news outlets, including Dnevnik.bg, Mediapool.bg, and offnews.bg.

Following the verdict, Mirchev commented on the loss of the case by Staliski, referring to the businessman as the favorite “tomcat” of Borisov.

Ivaylo Mirchev is a Bulgarian politician and a member of the National Assembly, having first been elected as a representative in April 2021. He has served across a sequence of parliamentary compositions.
