Jackson Drake Crowned WWE Evolve Champion in Four-Way Elimination Match

A new chapter has begun in WWE Evolve as Jackson Drake, representing the Vanity Project, claimed the WWE Evolve Championship. This follows Kali Armstrong’s historic win as the first WWE Evolve Women’s Champion just a week prior.
Drake secured the title on this week’s WWE Evolve episode, triumphing over Sean Legacy, Keanu Carver, and Edris Enofe in a four-way elimination match. Drake pinned Legacy after a jumping knee strike followed by a running knee. Notably, both Drake and Legacy had competed on WWE NXT the previous day in an eight-man tag team match.
In late April,Drake earned his spot in the championship match by winning a play-in match against Lince Dorado and Jordan Oasis.
Je’Von Evans presented Drake with the championship belt after the match. The Vanity Project, including Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Zayda Steel, and Bryce Donovan, joined Drake in the ring to celebrate. Drake and Evans share a history, having competed together and against each other in North Carolina’s independent wrestling scene since 2018.
Armstrong’s victory in a similar four-way elimination match against Wendy Choo, Kylie Rae, and Kendal Gray preceded Drake’s win by one week.
