Jade Lebœuf Emerges in Emergency After Death
jade Leboeuf Exits ‘Traitors’ After Family Loss
Jade Leboeuf’s abrupt departure from the French reality show “Traitors” became a focal point of the April 24,2025,episode. Her absence, initially a mystery to fellow contestants, stemmed from a death within the family of her former husband.
Leboeuf’s Exit Stuns Fellow Contestants
Leboeuf, who narrowly avoided elimination the previous week, was noticeably absent from breakfast, raising eyebrows among other participants, including Adil Rami adn Sophie Tapie. The two “Traitors,” confused by her disappearance after a prior banishment, considered inviting Liane Fany to join their alliance.
Host Eric antoine Clarifies Departure
Show host Eric Antoine addressed the situation, informing the contestants of Leboeuf’s departure. The reasons behind her exit were later revealed by Leboeuf in an interview with Télé-Loisirs.
Leboeuf explained that the death in the family of Stephane rodrigues, her child’s father, prompted her sudden exit. Even though she and Rodrigues had separated in January 2025, they were still together during the show’s filming in December 2024.
Leboeuf chose to support Rodrigues during the difficult time, prioritizing family over the competition. “There was a death in the family of Stéphane, my ex-husband,” Leboeuf told Télé-Loisirs. “At that time, I did not think of the association, I did not think of the game, I wanted to be with my loved ones.”
Regret and Reflection
Leboeuf expressed mixed feelings about leaving the show. “with perspective, of course,” she said, she regrets not finishing the game. She added, she would have liked to defend the association she represented more fully.
Despite the early departure, Leboeuf cherishes the memories from her time on “Traitors,” even acknowledging the challenges she faced. She described the experience as emotionally charged, highlighting the difficulty of defending oneself without proof and facing accusations despite being loyal.
“It is indeed filled with emotions and it is quiet complicated. We must defend ourselves without proof, we get accused without proof…And then to be accused when we are loyal, after a while, we no longer really know what to give as arguments. We can no longer justify ourselves. When it happened to me, it was difficult. I really thought it was going to be for my apple.”
