This initiative, reported to the cabinet yesterday, extends to both state civil servants and is being encouraged for private sector employees.

State Civil Servants (ASN), encompassing both PNS (Pegawai Negeri Sipil - Civil Servants) and PPPK (Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kontrak – Contract Government employees), are permitted to work remotely from December 29-31, 2025. This WFA directive applies specifically to the Nataru holiday period.
Private Sector Encouragement
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has issued an appeal to private companies to adopt the WFA system during the Christmas season. The recommended implementation period for private sector workers mirrors that of state civil servants: December 29-31, 2025.
