Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. believes his son will make Jake Paul regret stepping into the ring. Chavez Sr. predicts Paul will be running scared ⁢when he faces Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday in California.

paul,⁤ 28, is scheduled for a 10-round cruiserweight match against 39-year-old Chavez Jr. at the Honda Centre.Chavez Jr., son of the legendary mexican boxer ⁤and a former middleweight champion in 2012, has⁣ had a mixed record recently, winning eight of his last 13 bouts.

While Paul claims a victory over Chavez Jr. would launch a ⁤”title run,” Chavez Sr. dismissed the American’s chances at a news conference Thursday.

Chavez Sr. referenced Paul’s previous ⁢fight against ‍Mike Tyson last November, saying, “Jake Paul just fought against Mike Tyson, who didn’t even⁤ throw one punch.”
