“I’d say the higher interest this month isn’t specifically linked to christmas, but rather to holiday company parties and general get-togethers at the end of the year, which multiply. New Year’s Eve celebrations are the same. December is always our busiest month,” Čížková explains.

To keep up with the demand,the bistro hires extra staff and works longer hours. “We all anticipate that December will be busier,” she adds.

A Timeless classic Reigns Supreme

While the holiday season brings a rush, Sisters Bistro’s most popular chlebíček remains a timeless classic: the ham and egg on potato salad. “It’s a complete classic. But our roast beef chlebíček with celery remoulade and curry is also popular. Still, the ham chlebíček reigns supreme,” Čížková says.
