James Corden’s Shocking Ozempic Experiment: What Happened When He Tried the Controversial Weight Loss Medication
James Corden Opens Up About Trying Ozempic for Weight Loss
James Corden has revealed that he tried Ozempic to help him lose weight, but found that it didn’t make a significant difference in his overall relationship with food.
The former late-night host shared his experience with the type 2 diabetes drug on the September 19 episode of his podcast, “This Life of Mine.” Corden explained that he tried “a little bit” of Ozempic, but realized that it only worked as an appetite suppressant.
“What I realized was, ‘Oh, what I eat has nothing to do with being hungry,'” Corden said. ”This way you won’t get hungry. But I rarely eat (just because of hunger).”
Corden joked that his guests were “watching someone at a car wash who had a king-size (Cadbury) Dairy Milk (the milk they give for Christmas).” He added, “None of them were like, ‘Oh, I’m so hungry.’ That’s not it, it’s something else.”
Other Celebrities Who Have Tried Ozempic
James Corden isn’t the only star to have tried Ozempic for weight loss. Tracy Morgan, a former “30 Rock” cast member, has also been open about his experience with the drug.
Morgan initially joked about using Ozempic on “The Tonight Show,” but later told E! News that he had actually used the drug and found it to be helpful. “Ozempic has been a great help to me and I am glad I used it,” he said.
However, not all celebrities have had positive experiences with Ozempic. Macy Gray reported having some side effects when she started taking the drug, including stomach pain and fatigue.
Celebrities Who Are Unfamiliar with Ozempic
Despite the growing trend of celebrities trying Ozempic, there are still some stars who are unfamiliar with the drug. Kate Winslet, for example, admitted that she didn’t know what Ozempic was until she was asked about it in an interview.
“Actually, I don’t know what Ozempic is,” Winslet said. “All I know is that it’s a drug that people take.” After learning that it was a once-a-week injection, Winslet expressed her skepticism, saying “Oh, my God. This looks really terrible.”
Winslet’s reaction highlights the ongoing debate about the use of Ozempic for weight loss. While some celebrities have reported positive results, others have expressed concerns about the potential side effects and risks associated with the drug.
