Valentine, who previously battled oesophageal cancer, shared that the tumours are causing discomfort and impacting his bowel function. He humorously noted his increased familiarity with the digestive health aisle at his local pharmacy.
Starting next week, Valentine will begin a regimen of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. He expressed optimism about immunotherapy, stating it is indeed considered likely to be effective in his case. Due to the potential side effects of the treatment, Valentine will be off air for at least three months to concentrate on his health.
