TOKYO (March 31, 2025) – An exhibition soccer match between the Japanese Men’s Deaf Soccer Team and clearson Shinjuku will take place at the National Stadium on Wednesday, April 2, aiming to promote disability soccer and build excitement for the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics.
The Deaflympics, an international competition for hearing-impaired athletes, will be held from Nov. 15-26,with the soccer venue located at J Village in Fukushima.According to the U.S. Deaf Soccer Association, athletes must have an average hearing loss of 55 decibels or more in their best ear to be eligible for international deaf soccer competitions.
