Tokyo, January 15 (Jiji Press) – Japanese astronaut Yui Kimiya, along with three international crewmates, returned to Earth on Thursday, January 16, 2026, aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. The landing occurred in the waters off the coast of California at approximately 17:40 Japan Standard Time (JST). The spacecraft’s hatch was opened around 18:20 JST.
