upcoming film Materialists.The movie is directed by Celine Song, acclaimed for her previous work on
Past Lives.
The Materialists soundtrack,released by A24 Music,also includes songs by Baby Rose,alongside Daniel
Pemberton’s score. The film, starring Dakota Johnson, pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans, arrives in theaters this
Friday, june 13.
Japanese Breakfast’s latest album, For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women), came out in March. The album
features singles such as “Orlando in Love,” “Picture window,” “Mega Circuit,” and “Winter in LA.” Zauner is
currently on an international tour, scheduled to return to North America in August.The tour kicked off with a
Coachella performance where Japanese Breakfast covered Gorillaz’s “on Melancholy Hill.”
