TOKYO (AP) — The All Japan University Basketball Federation revealed its roster and schedule on April 28 for the Japanese student selection team participating in the 48th Li Sang-Up Japan-Korea University Basketball Tournament.
The annual Lee Sang-Up Cup,a competition pitting select university players from Japan against their South korean counterparts,will take place in Suwon,South Korea,from May 16-18. The Japanese team held training camps at the Ajinomoto National Training Center in Tokyo’s Kita-ku in March. The initial camp included 22 players from 17 universities. A second camp saw 15 players replace the original participants.
