Actor Jason Biggs, famous for his role in “American Pie,” has shared candid details about his past battles with addiction. In a recent interview, Biggs recounted a particularly low point during his period of heavy cocaine and alcohol use: retrieving cocaine from a stranger’s trash can.
Biggs, speaking on the “Well with Arielle Lorre” podcast, explained that his rise to fame at a young age, coupled with easy access to drugs and alcohol, fueled his addiction. Even his wife, Jenny Mollen, couldn’t deter him during his “blackout coke and booze binge fiending phase.”
He described one instance where, after snorting cocaine at 4 a.m., he became overwhelmed with anxiety about his upcoming responsibilities.In an attempt to stop himself, he threw the remaining cocaine away, only to retrieve it minutes later for another line. The Jason Biggs addiction spiraled.
The situation escalated when he threw the drugs into an outside trash bin. “Fed up and desperate, he chucked the bag in one of his trash bins outside his house … but sure enough, he returned shortly after, climbed into the bin, dug it out, and snorted yet another line,” he said.
