Javier Milei‘s Future Plans for Argentina

Javier Milei, the President of Argentina, has announced that he will continue his policies of budget cuts in 2025. This declaration came after his absence at the 30th Industrial Conference, where he faced criticism from the industrial sector.

Hours before giving a speech at a Federal Police event, Milei shared a message on social media. He included a photo of a red chainsaw, a symbol of his political campaign. He expressed his commitment to radical reforms, stating, “I will keep full speed with the chainsaw… LONG LIVE FREEDOM!”

During his speech at the Armed Forces Sable Delivery ceremony, he emphasized his support for the police. He criticized the previous government for neglecting law enforcement and placing criminals above victims. He declared his administration’s intent to reverse this trend.

Milei also revealed plans to ban prisoners from transferring between prisons based on gender identity changes. He argued that such measures are absurd and promised to end them, emphasizing respect for crime victims.

He did not attend the industrial conference where business leaders sought equal conditions for competition. Martín Rappallini, president of the industrial association, expressed that they wanted fairness, not special treatment, to compete effectively in local and international markets.

The absence of Milei and Economy Minister Luis Caputo disappointed many industry representatives. Caputo was out of town, while Milei sent a letter acknowledging the conference’s importance but excusing himself from attending.
