Jay Leno‘s Health Update After 60-Foot Fall
Jay Leno has provided a health update after his recent 60-foot fall in Pennsylvania. The former host of The Tonight Show attended the AMFAR gala in Las Vegas and shared that he is recovering well.
“I’m feeling good,” Leno stated, according to DailyMail. He mentioned that he has a broken wrist but is otherwise okay.
At the event held at the Wynn Resort and Casino, Leno used makeup to cover his bruises. He also honored Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin.
Leno’s accident occurred while he was trying to reach a restaurant for chicken parmesan. He explained, “To get to [the restaurant], I didn’t have a car, so you had to walk about a mile and a half around. I said, ‘Well, the hill doesn’t look that steep. It’s about 60-70 feet. Let me see if I can go down the hill,’ I fell down.” He described the experience, saying, “Boom, boom, boom. I rolled down the hill, hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye.”
Despite the fall, Leno remains optimistic and is on the road to recovery.
