Jazz at Lincoln Center Gala: Wynton Marsalis & Rubén Blades | Tickets & VIP Access

February 25, 2026 Robert Mitchell - News Editor of Newsdirectory3.com News

Jazz at Lincoln Center Announces Gala Featuring Wynton Marsalis and Star-Studded Lineup

Jazz at Lincoln Center will host its annual fundraising gala on April 15, 2026, featuring a performance by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, alongside a roster of celebrated guest artists. The event, described as the “premier event of the season for all who support the mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center,” will include performances by Rubén Blades, Aymeé Nuviola, Shenel Johns, Ekep Nkwelle, and Anthony Almonte, among others.

The gala concert offers supporters of the organization a chance to contribute to its ongoing mission. Attendees can experience a taste of the full gala experience with VIP Concert-Only tickets, which provide access to a pre-concert reception beginning at 6:00 PM. This reception includes exclusive seating in mezzanine boxes, a champagne reception with light snacks, and a photo opportunity on the gala step & repeat.

Beyond the performance and reception, VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to mingle with the special guest artists and honorees. VIP Concert-Only Tickets are priced at $750 and $500, offering varying levels of access and experience.

The event takes place at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York, NY 10019, often referred to as The House of Swing. Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 38th season, titled “Mother Africa,” will run from July 24, 2025 to June 20, 2026, and features 30% more shows than the previous season.

The organization’s programming for the 2025-26 season includes 19 unique weekends of concerts in the 1233-seat Rose Theater, nine concerts in the 467-seat Appel Room, and over 350 nights of music at Dizzy’s Club. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will also embark on a worldwide tour.

This season’s theme explores the creative connections between African and American musical traditions, building on previous works by Marsalis that have addressed similar themes, including “Blood on the Fields,” “Congo Square,” and “Ochas.” The season will also feature new works commissioned by Jazz at Lincoln Center through “The Commission Series.”

Ticket holders are also encouraged to extend their evening by utilizing their ticket stub for complimentary cover to that evening’s Late Night Session at Dizzy’s Club, beginning at 10:45 PM. Jazz at Lincoln Center also encourages attendees to consider becoming members, with membership starting at $100 per year, offering benefits such as discounted tickets and access to exclusive events.

The upcoming gala builds on Jazz at Lincoln Center’s commitment to celebrating integration within jazz, acknowledging the diverse backgrounds of the musicians who have shaped the genre. The organization’s 37th season, announced in April 2024, similarly focused on the power of jazz to bridge cultural divides.

Josh Groban hosted the 2024 Gala, which honored the late Tony Bennett.
