JD Vance Defends US Economic Pressure on Iran as Delicate Dance Amid New Sanctions

Speaking on a podcast appearance reported by international outlets, Vance defended the administration’s aggressive posture despite lingering economic fallout at home. He acknowledged that American consumers still face elevated pump prices, but argued that energy markets have stabilized substantially because U.S. has managed to get a lot of oil and gas out of the Strait of Hormuz due to the assistance of its military.
