French pop icon Jeanne Mas has expressed deep disappointment and anger following the cancellation of her scheduled concert at Paris’s Grand Rex venue, originally set for May 2, 2026.
The announcement came via a statement from ASP Productions, the event’s promoter, citing “contractual non-executions” related to the tour as the reason for the cancellation. According to reports, the decision followed weeks of escalating tension between the singer and her production team.
Jeanne Mas had previously voiced concerns publicly about the instability surrounding the event. On February 16, she noted confusion after seeing the concert announcement disappear and then reappear days later on the Grand Rex’s official website, describing the sequence of events as “far from professional.”
In a social media post dated March 7, the artist shared a reflective message on Instagram, stating: “Being scorned means nothing. Being ignored and hurt destroys you.” She added at the time: “I hope with all my heart the concert will be maintained, but as of today, no decision depends on me anymore.”
The cancellation has left fans who had already purchased tickets facing disappointment. According to venue information, tickets priced between 40 and 80 euros remain refundable through standard points of sale. The Grand Rex confirmed the event’s cancellation and stated that reimbursements are available at the usual outlets.
ASP Productions conveyed regret over the situation, acknowledging the inconvenience caused to ticket holders while maintaining their position on the contractual issues that led to the decision.
