The study was transferred remotely through the Madrasati platform to all schools in Jeddah, Makkah, Khulais, Rabigh, Khulais, Al-Jamaum, and Bahra, after receiving warnings from the National Meteorological Center about high-speed winds, heavy rainfall with scarcity, horizontal visibility, hail, and torrential rain in some parts of Makkah Al-Mukarrama region.

Impact of Heavy Rains in Jeddah Governorate

Yesterday, Jeddah Governorate witnessed heavy rains that caused water levels to rise on some roads. This caused some vehicles to break down and several flights arriving at King Abdulaziz International Airport were diverted to Madinah Airport before the arrival of the rest of the flights could be facilitated after the weather conditions calmed down.

The Prince Majid Road tunnel along with Palestine Street in Jeddah Governorate was reopened in both directions after heavy rain caused the tunnel to fill with rainwater.
