Blackpink’s Jennie Returns as a Solo Artist with Columbia Records

Blackpink’s Jennie is set to continue her career as a solo artist, collaborating with the global record label Columbia Records.

Columbia Records, known for working with world-class artists such as Beyoncé, Adele, and Harry Styles, has pledged extensive support for Jennie’s solo career.

Jennie, who successfully promoted as a solo artist last year with ‘You & Me’, is challenging the global music market once again with a new single that will be released after about a year.

Last year, Jennie gained huge popularity through the OST ‘One of the Girls’ of the American drama ‘THE IDOL’, in which she participated alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.

The song achieved unprecedented success, staying on Billboard’s main single chart, the ‘Hot 100’, for 20 consecutive weeks and being streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify.

As a result, Jennie became the first Korean female solo singer to receive a ‘Platinum’ certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Jennie’s consistent success once again confirms her solid position and wide fan base in the domestic and international music markets.

The news of her new single release is expected to bring new energy to the global music market.
