She also mentioned that Botox isn’t particularly effective for her, wich is why she frequently enough wears bangs. Garner values the ability to move her forehead, a sentiment she shared in the context of a culture where some expressions appear frozen.
“Well, I don’t judge whatever makes anyone look or feel their best. I haven’t needed it yet, but I can’t say that I haven’t said to doctors before, ‘Do I need to do this?’ And I’ve had really nice doctors who have just been like, ‘No.’”
Garner joins other celebrities who have spoken out on the topic of cosmetic treatments. Gabrielle Union, in a 2024 interview with People, shared her own anti-aging strategies, suggesting a high ponytail as an alternative to a surgical facelift.
“But as far as injectables go, I think just find somebody fantastic and proceed with caution. I don’t do a ton, and Botox doesn’t work very well for me, that’s why I wear bangs a lot.”
