Jessica Laszewski Named WSAW General Manager

Jessica Laszewski is taking on a new role as general manager at WSAW, the CBS affiliate in Wausau, Wis. Gray Media announced the promotion, effective July 21.
Laszewski previously served as news director for WMTV, Gray Television’s NBC affiliate in Madison, Wis., as October 2017. During her tenure, WMTV achieved the top spot in news viewership. The station also underwent a digital conversion, strengthening its presence across multiple platforms.
The WMTV newsroom received the RTDNA regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in 2022, 2024 and 2025.
Laszewski’s experience also includes a prior stint as news director at WSAW and at WNDU, the NBC affiliate in South Bend, Ind. Earlier in her career, she held producing and executive producing positions at several Wisconsin stations, including WMTV in Madison, WEAU in Eau Claire, WBAY in Green Bay, and WISC in Madison.
