Jet Lag Team Launches Nebula Comedy Series ‘Abolish Everything’ – A Bold New Take on Humor and Society
Nebula Announces New Comedy Debate Series “Abolish Everything!”
Nebula has announced a new project called “Abolish Everything!” This comedy debate series is based on comedian Chandler Dean’s live show in New York City. The show will be hosted by Dean.
In “Abolish Everything!,” comedian-abolitionists will roast things they want banned from society. A panel of improvisers, known as ‘The Political Establishment,’ will argue for the status quo. Each episode, the audience will choose a champion who will return for the season finale.
The series will be executive produced by Sam Denby, Nebula’s chief content officer. Other executive producers include Nebula CEO Dave Wiskus, Dean, and Amy Muller from Wendover Productions, who will also serve as showrunner and director.
Graham Haerther from Nebula will co-executive produce. Adam Chase and Ben Doyle from Wendover will act as supervising producers. They all have experience from “Jet Lag: The Game,” which is preparing for its 12th season.
Filming for “Abolish Everything!” will take place in New York City, aiming for an early 2025 release.
Muller expressed excitement about the project, stating, “I’m beyond thrilled about ‘Abolish Everything!’ This show is by haters, for haters.”
Dean added, “Nebula has decided to broadcast our radical movement to the masses. We want to abolish everything in the universe.”
Denby concluded that the audience enjoys quick videos explaining societal issues. This show will offer five such discussions with a panel of people who disagree, creating a lively debate format similar to YouTube comment sections.
