Iconic Commentary Duo Appear Together in Pittsburgh
Wrestling broadcasting legends Jim Ross and Jerry “the King” Lawler, both prominent voices of the Attitude Era, recently reunited at an event hosted by Ultimate Stars Promotions in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The appearance provided a rare prospect for fans to see the duo together, as Lawler has limited public appearances following recent health challenges.

Ross shared a photo of the reunion on Twitter, showcasing both Hall of Famers smiling alongside fans. He noted the event was lively despite the cold winter weather in Pittsburgh. “It’s chilly in Pittsburgh but we’re hot ahere until 2 EST,” Ross tweeted.
Potential for Future Collaboration
The reunion sparked renewed discussion about a possible return to the commentary booth for the iconic duo.during a recent interview on Busted Open Radio with Tommy Dreamer, Ross addressed the possibility of Lawler appearing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), specifically for a show in Memphis. Ross expressed openness to the idea, but indicated any collaboration would likely be a one-time event rather than a full-time commitment.
Lawler’s recent health issues have understandably led to fewer public appearances, making this Pittsburgh reunion particularly special for fans of the Attitude era. He suffered a heart attack in 2018 and has since been cautious about overexertion.
Ross’s Upcoming AEW Role
Jim Ross is scheduled to provide commentary for AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view event, Worlds End, which will take place on saturday, December 27, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. This will mark another significant appearance for the veteran announcer, continuing his work with AEW after joining the promotion in 2019.
